BIO

Hannah Laws was born in the north of England but came of age in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. In 2010 she received her MA (Hons) degree in English Literature, with a minor in Classical Studies, from the University of St Andrews. She holds a life-long love of the arts and has worked in many creative environments, from music recording and producing to the theatre - both on and off the stage and has also taken on a number of educational roles, including teaching art to children with learning disabilities and serving as a educational representative for the Edinburgh Zoological Society of Scotland. She relocated to San Francisco in 2013 to pursue her interest in drawing and moved from charcoal to oil paint in 2015. She is set to receive her BFA in Fine Art Painting from Academy of Art University in the spring of 2017.

She can be found online, painting in her stufio aka. her bedroom, behind a dram of Scotch at your friendly neighbourhood dive bar, or enthusiastically petting any cat or dog that happens to cross her path.
